Exhibition "The animal kingdom, between reality and myth" - Gallery Mermoz, 6 rue du Cirque - Paris - from June 1 to July 30, 2010: Presentation of three exceptional items:
- imposing crocodile movement of the Totonac culture, Veracruz, in terracotta. This piece is exceptional in its very subject, the crocodile, and the skill of the artist who was able to convey the vitality of the animal while stylized sculpture.
- Two rare Mayan ceremonial axes granite. One representative of a macaw and the other representing a jaguar. The ax is one of the three elements of the ritual game of ball with the yoke and the palm. This object symbolized the degree of initiation of pelota player.
